For ski & snowboard instructors

Launch your own Ride With [Name].

A clean client-support system for the off-snow side of your work. Private rider notes, recaps families keep, and a season timeline, all presented under your own name. The boundaries that keep you safe with your resort are built in, not bolted on.

  • Instructor-owned notes
  • Guardrails built in
  • Run on Ride With Jay first
Prelaunch preview. Nothing on this page is live. There is no checkout, no signup, and no account creation yet. Prices are draft placeholders held for review. Anything that affects a resort or an employer is something you confirm with them first.

How it works

Four simple steps across a season

Ride With Spark sits behind the lesson, not during it. You add a few notes after you ride, and the family gets something clear to keep.

Set up your space

Pick your name and colors so the product reads as Ride With your name. Spark is the engine behind it.

Add notes after a lesson

A short note on what you worked on, a win, and a next step. No long forms. A minute or two is plenty.

Share a recap

Send the family a clean recap they can keep. They choose what to save and what to pass on later.

Pick up next time

Your season timeline reminds you where each rider left off, so the next lesson starts on solid ground.

Your product cockpit

A calm workspace that reads as your own

This is an illustrative preview of the instructor workspace. It is a still picture, not a working app, and it collects nothing. Booking, billing, scheduling, and assignment stay with your resort. Ride With Spark holds the notes around the lesson.

Static preview for layout only. Nothing here saves, sends, or signs anyone up. Real rider details would only ever live in an instructor's own approved space.

Instructor dashboard

Everything for one rider, in one place

Your dashboard keeps each rider organized so you spend less time remembering and more time teaching.

Rider notes

Private

Keep simple notes for each rider. What worked, what to try next, and the small things that help them have a good day.

Family recap

Shareable

Turn a note into a clean recap the family can read and keep. They decide what to save and what to share with a future instructor.

Handoff note

Optional

When a family wants continuity, you can prepare a short handoff so the next lesson starts from where this one ended.

Season timeline

At a glance

See each rider's progress across the season in one view, so a returning student never feels like a blank page.

Your branding

Ride With your name

Your name and colors sit on the front. Spark stays the quiet engine that keeps it all running and backed up.

Privacy controls

Gated

You hold the notes. Families approve what they keep. No child accounts, and no messages sent to a child.

Templates and guardrails

A safer operating system for the off-snow side

You already know how to teach. Ride With Spark gives you a tested way to run everything around the lesson: what to ask, how to recap, how to write to a parent, and where the lines are. Templates and guardrails, not a curriculum and not a certification. The same shapes Jay uses on Ride With Jay right now.

Intake prompts

Ready to use

The first questions that actually matter: goals, past experience, confidence, what helps this rider settle, and what a good day looks like to the family.

Recap templates

Consistent

Worked on, win of the day, one next focus. A shape you can fill in two minutes that reads the same way for every rider, every week.

Parent note language

Plain words

Wording that describes effort and progress in language a non-riding parent understands, without labels, rankings, or judgment calls.

Boundary language

Built in

Every template carries the lines that keep you safe with your resort: no booking, no lesson sales, no affiliation claims, no safety or terrain calls in writing.

Review workflow

Repeatable

A short weekly rhythm for going through your riders: what changed, what to remember, what to carry into the next session. Less scrambling, better notes.

Cue memory

Per rider

A place to note which explanation style clicked for each rider, so your next session starts from what already works instead of starting over.

What this is not. The templates help you communicate and stay organized. They are not teaching content, a curriculum library, a training course, or certification. Your teaching comes from your own training and your school or resort's standards.

Ride With your name

One product, many instructors

Every instructor runs the same dependable engine and presents it as their own. These are illustrative examples, not real accounts.

Ride With JaySnowboard

Our own example. Spark colors, calm and plain. The notes read like Jay wrote them, because the engine stays out of the way.

Dogfood example
Ride With MaraSki, all ages

A different name and palette on the same product. Mara keeps short recaps for returning families and a timeline per rider.

Illustrative
Ride With TheoFreestyle

Same notes, same recaps, his own front door. Theo points families to a recap they keep after each session.

Ride With Jay

We run it ourselves first

Running its first season now

Ride With Jay is the working example of Ride With Spark, built and run on the same system. Before we ask any instructor to rely on it, Jay uses it for real lessons. That is how we find the rough edges and keep the product honest. You get the same shell with your name on it.

  • Notes taken after real lessons, not invented for a demo.
  • Recaps written the way a family actually wants to read them.
  • Boundaries tested against what a resort would reasonably allow.
  • Anything confusing for Jay gets fixed before it reaches you.

Guardrails

Built to keep you safe with your resort

Most instructors work for a resort or a school, and that relationship matters more than any tool. Ride With Spark is built to fit inside those rules, not around them. The guardrails are the product, not the fine print.

What you can do

  • Keep your own private notes on riders you teach.
  • Share a recap with a family who wants to keep it.
  • Present the product under your own name and colors.
  • Use it for private or approved lessons within your employer's rules.
  • Ask your resort or employer what is allowed before you start.

What this is not

  • It does not let you sell resort lessons or bypass your employer.
  • It does not capture or resell a resort's guest data.
  • It does not use resort names or logos as your own.
  • It does not guarantee mountain access, terrain, or bookings.
  • It does not provide on-snow support unless your employer approves it.

What your resort or employer owns

  • Booking and billing for lessons
  • Scheduling and instructor assignment
  • Program governance and safety policy
  • Official instruction and certification

What Ride With Spark supports

  • Private notes you keep on riders you teach
  • A clear recap a family can keep
  • Continuity from one lesson to the next
  • Your own name and colors on the front
The rule of thumb. Ride With Spark helps you organize notes and recaps. It is not instruction, and it does not give safety, terrain, weather, medical, or equipment advice. If something touches your resort or employer, you confirm it with them first. When in doubt, ask before you use it on the job.

Setup path

From interest to a ready space

This is the planned order of steps. None of it is live yet, and each step that touches a resort waits on approval.

Confirm your rules

Check with your employer or resort about what you are allowed to do off the clock. We will share plain language to help that conversation.

Set your name and colors

When the product opens, you choose how Ride With your name looks before you add a single rider.

Add your first rider

Start with one rider and one recap. Grow from there at your own pace across the season.

Order shown for planning only. We will not turn on any step that depends on a resort or employer until that resort or employer has approved it.
